We’re always curious to see what fashion folk are carrying in their bags and to check out their beauty stash. Sharon Feiereisen, editor for The Fashion Spot, gave us the scoop on what’s in her Hayden-Harnett Wyeth tote!
I’m obsessed with this bag. I’ve been wearing it almost every day since I got it a few weeks ago and the black version was actually the first Hayden-Harnett piece I ever owned (that was five years ago!!). I go to Barry’s Bootcamp or Pure Yoga pretty much every day so right now I have a yoga towel, EBOOST, sunglasses for when I have no makeup on, some makeup/Clarisonic for after I workout, one of my favorite Hermessence (Ambre Narguile), my Mophie which is this genius wireless iPhone charger, umbrella (it’s from H&M and the lightest most convenient one ever), Mario Badescu cleanser (I’m always trying out new ones to write about..this one is great and works well with the Clarisonic), Hand Food which is my favorite hand cream mostly because of the name (I’m a sucker for marketing, cute names etc…), credit card holder, water, and lip balm from Fresh (I hate sticky stuff on my lips..Their sugar lip treatment is amazing).

If you live in NYC, you’re probably aware that this celebrated Manhattan beauty is celebrating a centennial this year…we think it’s time for a visit and some research into the story behind this 1913 Beaux-Arts gem. We’ll be extra nerdy and start here, then jump here to learn more about the controversy surround the great astrological mural incorrectly depicted by French painter, Paul Helleu.

We are blown away by this installation by American artist Soo Sunny Park made from common chain link fence. Her installation ‘Unwoven Light’ is on display now through August 30th at the Rice University Art Gallery.
